Following on from our recent story regarding the pricing for Sky Player on Xbox LIVE, Xbox Community Manager Graeme Boyd posted on his Twitter yesterday that it will finally arrive on 27th October.
Not only that Wonderwallweb are reporting that a retail bundle will be available which will include a wireless media remote, a months subscription to Sky Player, and a 3 month Xbox LIVE Gold subscription. No details of pricing as of yet.
The new Modern Warfare 2 trailer, entitled “Infamy”, has hit the internet. Action packed, and will have us all drooling some more in anticipation of the games actually release.

The Sky Player website has been updated and now features details of how much it will actually cost to watch live channels on Xbox LIVE.
Small print at the bottom of the page reveals that it will be free to those with a multiroom or “Broadband Unlimited” subscription and £15-£41 a month to non-Sky customers. The price will depend on the channel package with the £41 a month likely to be for the movie and sport channels. Add to that the fact that this will be for those with a Xbox LIVE Gold membership only.
No details have emerged yet as to when Sky Player will be available on Xbox LIVE or how many channels there will actually be available to watch.
With the news yesterday that Modern Warfare 2 and Halo 3: ODST are to get their own hardware bundles, today is the turn of Forza 3. Microsoft are calling this the Forza Motorsport 3 Super Elite Bundle!!
What you’ll get inside, along with the Elite console, is a 250GB Hdd, two wireless controllers, a headset and a copy of Forza Motorsport 3, although this will be the standard edition. All this for retail price of £249.99.
Retail date for this bundle, as well as the game itself, is 23rd October 2009.
Announced by Infinity Ward at a press event in L.A. yesterday was details of a limited edition Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 console.
The new console will be Elite black, all Modern Warfare 2 branded, and will come strapped to a 250GB HDD, and bundled with a copy of the game and two wireless controllers. Good news it that Graeme Boyd, Xbox LIVE’s very own AceyBongos, announced on his Twitter that the bundle will be heading to the UK!! No details of the price here yet, but the US price will be $399 and available to buy on November 10, the release date for Modern Warfare 2.
Not to let the Halo 3 fans out there feel left out Microsoft themselves announced earlier today that a Halo 3: ODST bundle will hit stores later this month.
It contains a regular 120GB Xbox 360 Elite, black wireless controller and copies of Halo 3: ODST and Halo 3 plus a code for the Halo: Reach multiplayer beta. This bundle has, so far, only been announced for a European release.
